Distance

We see it every day in SL, crap i think most of us have participated at some point, the long distance relationship.Birch send me their submission for Kinky monthly and it had me thinking, lol Yes i can do that some times.
I have been single for over a year in SL, mostly by my own choice, relationships are hard and even harder if there is like a gazillion miles between you and the other person. I am not saying they are not worth it or that they never work out, there are the few and far in between that survive, but you need to know for yourself if you are willing to put in the extra work it takes to keep things up.

Holiday Kindness

Yes, yes i know i said i was going on Holiday break, but ya know Crap happens and usually to me lol. While i am impatiently waiting on my Holiday break to start, i so hope with in the next day or so, i decided to give you a look in to my personal SL home. Right before i went on break Cwtch. send me this print with a quote from Aesop: 'No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.' 
With all the things going on in this world that quote seems more true then ever and to add to that a little we should all think about the little acts of judgement we do on a daily basis that keep us from being kind to one another. Anything, even something as small as a true smile can be kind in some ones eyes and maybe brighten up their day just a little, you never know what they might be going through.
With that said my family and i wish you all a Happy Holiday season and a blessed New Year !

In her own Fairytale

Eventually we all have to grow up, some do it more some less. 
But i like to believe not every one completely looses that little "child" inside of us , that happy little part that liked to play in the dirt, read or hear stories and truly believed in the good of the world. The little person that saw things in a different light  and hopefully was sheltered by loving parents from most of the cruel things adults could do. 
I was lucky enough to have a mother who tried her best to do just that, not always successfully but she still tried.
To this day i tend to be a dreamer some might even consider me naive, i dont like to believe in the bad of people in general even in this world we live in now and the way it has become.
In a way on some days i am in my own little fairytale of some sorts and on others it might be a nightmare in its own.

Nerd Alert !

So i decided to venture over to the  Epiphany  didn't spend as much as i thought i would, not that i am complaining about that.
And behold my inner nerd came out, .random.Matter.'s Nerd Haven Gacha set made me giggle in RL and made me think of a couple of Nerd friends i have in SL ( oh you know who you are ).
I have been a gamer for 13 years and played many MMO's , im not in to console games i prefer the PC but this set just .. YAY ! 
I still have my World of Warcraft account and my DAoC accounts ( 4 of them lol) which i randomly activate and goof around with, somewhere i have a couple of Guild Wars accounts and not to mention SL ( which i do not truly consider a game) but in all honesty i do not have the time to invest in the raiding and end game content that you need to be able to compete. I dont like PVE i am a PVPer, i prefer going head to head with another player over beating on a NPC but even for that in most games you need to spend a considerable amount of time and lets face it, i have kids and work and a house, you can not just go AFK for god knows how much time at any given moment while playing any of those ( trust me i have done so and died many times lol). SL i can just walk away from and leave CuppyCakes sitting on her platform or store and it will all still be there when i come back an hour or sometimes two later, sometimes the next day. But SL itself can be consuming, i think if we are totally honest with ourselves we have all been there, each and every one has put something off because something in SL was going on you wanted to be a part of, or you were working on something that just took all your attention and when you do not have people, mainly children, depending on you that is ok. 
I guess what i am saying is that everything in moderation is good even nerdie game stuff like my oldest calls it
